Privacy policy

Ergopix Sàrl ("we") attaches great importance to data protection. This policy explains which data is processed within the Periscop site and service, for which purposes, and what your rights are. It applies in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data processed and purposes
  • Site visitors: browsing data (pages viewed, device type, referrer), collected in aggregated form for audience measurement purposes.
  • Contact form: name, email address, company and message, in order to respond to your request.
  • Customers: account data (name, email, company), project data (prompts, brand terms, website) and analysis results (AI responses, visibility indicators), in order to provide the service.
Legal basis

Processing is based on the performance of the service contract, on your consent (contact form) and on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service and in measuring its audience in a privacy-respectful manner.

Audience measurement

The site uses Matomo, an audience measurement solution self-hosted by Ergopix. It is configured without cookies: no tracker is placed on your device, no advertising profile is built, and data is not shared with any third party. No consent banner is therefore necessary.

Sub-processors and recipients

To provide the service, we rely on providers that process data on our behalf:

  • Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland), for hosting and email;
  • Artificial intelligence providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral AI and Perplexity), queried to measure brand visibility;
  • DataForSEO, for retrieving the AI overviews displayed in Google search results;
  • Stripe Payments Europe Ltd (Ireland), for the secure processing of card payments — Stripe acts as an independent data controller for payment data.

The measurement queries sent to these providers cover market topics and do not, in principle, contain personal data of third parties. No data is sold or transferred for commercial purposes.

Transfers outside Switzerland

Some providers (notably AI providers and DataForSEO) are located outside Switzerland, particularly in the European Union and the United States. These transfers are framed by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) to ensure an adequate level of protection.

Retention period

Measurement data is retained for the duration provided by the customer's plan (90 to 730 days). Account data is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship, then deleted within 30 days after termination. Contact form messages are retained for the time necessary to process the request.

Security

Data is hosted in Switzerland. Third-party API keys are encrypted in the database, access is strictly isolated per customer, and exchanges are secured (HTTPS).

Your rights

You have a right of access, rectification, deletion, objection, restriction and portability concerning your data. To exercise these rights, write to us at hello@periscop.ch.

You may also file a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland or, if you reside in the European Union, with the competent supervisory authority.

This policy may be updated. The last update date is shown at the top of the page.
